Hawaiian LomiLomi Fusion Bodywork

Lomi Lomi is a traditional Hawaiian healing practice (bodywork) often described as a "loving touch" massage.Lomi-Lomi has its own set of ritual vocabulary in Hawai’ian which include prayer (pule), spiritual energy and personal power (mana), and breath of life (aloha). A spiritual translation could be “to turn or shift”, referring to the massage as a physical change that turns over a new leaf, by ridding toxins and old material from the body.

It uses deep long, flowing, wave-like strokes, primarily with forearms, elbows and hands, to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit. This holistic approach restores full body tension, improves circulation, and promotes deep relaxation, rather than only focusing on isolated muscles.

Full body Lomi Lomi techniques often involves working different parts of the body simultaneously, switching in between different pressure of the tissues, while working on all the layers of the body; (fascia, lymph, muscles, organs etc) which helps the mind& body to fully let go and drop in to a trance like state, letting the nervous system relax and the body becomes more responsive to change. It is designed to be ceremonial journey back to balance and wholeness; body-mind & spirit

  • I am generally a person that only gets body work to help training injuries to keep my body performing in jiu jitsu and in the gym. Recently I had the privilege of rexperiencing bodywork from Hasti for a very different reason, to allow myself to receive nourishing touch , to let go and relax. Theres getting a massage and then theres receiving touch , this is more intimate than just getting a massage, not in a sexual way but that the session was centered around my relationship with receiving touch. Hasti sets a really open and safe container before , during and after the work. She communicates well and lets you know anything that comes up as you receive the work is welcome , and you can openly communicate it. Soak yourself a bath in clawfoot tub with rose water and flowers.Then step into the outdoor shower and experience a traditional Persian ritual of exfoliation with a kesseh, a exfoliating mitt used to deep scrub your skin and come out silky smooth. Listen to the birds chirping and gentle water stream
